My Singing Monsters Karaoke Island Beds and Setlist Catalog
A guide to the bundled island beds and remixes, written for the Elemental badge and the parent who wants a quiet first track.
My Singing Monsters Karaoke does not ship a public difficulty column, and the picker is unlabeled. This page is the practical setlist tour. It covers the natural-island beds you can hum, the remix folders the trailers hinted at, and the tracks that fans noticed are absent from launch. If a song is missing from your picker, this page tells you whether it was ever promised or whether fans simply expected it.
The Elemental achievement asks you to play one song from each of the five natural islands: Plant, Cold, Air, Water, and Earth. If you only need the achievement, you do not need this whole page; you need to play five short vanilla beds. If you want to enjoy the picker, read on.
The five natural islands and what they sound like
Plant Island. The franchise handshake. Plant-themed beds tend to be warm, mid-tempo, and the most singable of the natural five. Plant is the recommended first track in How to Play and the safest place to learn the ribbon. Plant is also the most common pairing in monster staff picks because the vowels of Mammott and Sox land cleanly on Plant beds.
Cold Island. Higher pitched, with longer sustained slides than Plant. Cold Island is where you learn that a ribbon is a ribbon, not a stack of blocks. Pair with a singer whose vowels sit high, like Furcorn, and watch the squash animation during the long sustained notes. Reviewers mentioned Cold material that sounds like an older mix; that is an arrangement detail, not a hidden hard mode.
Air Island. Lighter, with quick ascending and descending runs. Air tests your reaction speed more than your slide feel. Pair Air with a fast Monster like Entbrat or PomPom. If you can keep your ribbon glued on Air, you are ready for the remixes.
Water Island. Smooth, legato, with fewer jumps and more slides. Water is the easiest natural island for a player who already trusts the ribbon. Water Island remixes show up in trailers as the laid-back pick.
Earth Island. Slower, denser, with low pitches that punish a slider too eager to ride the centre. Earth is the natural-island curveball. Play it last in your Elemental sweep so your ribbon is calibrated when you take it on.
The remix and flavor folders
Trailers and community clips showed the picker reaching beyond the five natural islands. Confirming the entire remix roster from the launch build is not something we can do without datamining, so this list is the set of names fans have reported:
Amber Island beds. A warmer flavor with longer sustained notes. Pairs well with Mammott or BBli$zard.
Wublin-style beds. Glitchy, syncopated, with rests the launcher is happy to fill with silence. Best enjoyed on a Monster whose idle animation tolerates pauses, like Sox.
Fire Haven remixes. Hot, fast, with sudden register changes. Best enjoyed on a singer whose vowels survive the jump, like Entbrat or BBli$zard.
Cold Island remixes. Some fans noted the remix version sounds different from the natural Cold bed. That is arrangement, not your settings.
If a remix folder name appears in your picker but not here, it is because we have not seen a clean screenshot of it yet. The Updates Hub will add rows when fans send clips.
What’s missing from launch and why
Workshop Island. Reviewers asked. Steam confirmed it is not on the launch build. There is no hidden chart folder; there is no DLC that ships it. Workshop was a player wishlist item, not a promised track.
Shadow Islet. Same answer. Reviewers called its absence bizarre. We cannot promise it will arrive, but the Updates Hub tracks Steam news posts if it does.
Older Cold Island mix. Some reviews accused Cold Island of using an older mix in the launch build. That is arrangement, not a missing track. If you remember the mobile Cold Island song being different, that memory is right; the karaoke adaptation is its own thing.
A practical setlist for tonight
One vanilla Plant bed. One Cold Island bed. One Water Island bed. One Air Island bed. One Earth Island bed. That clears the Elemental achievement. If you have energy left, pick a remix. If you do not, Can’t Get Enough wants you to close the client for a day. Respect the badge.
If you are picking a song for a parent or a young child who wandered into the room, stick to Plant or Water Island vanilla. The remix folders can be louder, weirder, or just longer than a kid-friendly first track.
How this fits the rest of the wiki
Song picks is the entry point. Monsters by Island lists which launch Monsters come from which mobile island lineage. Monster tier list is the community feel ranking. Monster staff picks sorts singers by intent. Achievements explains Elemental in detail. Known issues collects the persistent request for Workshop and Shadow Islet.
This page does not score songs. It does not promise tracks that are not in the launch picker. It does not pretend the bundled library is bigger than it is. If you want to extend runtime beyond the bundled setlist, the import guide is the next door.
When this page grows
If Big Blue Bubble adds a chart folder, a remix pack, or a Workshop integration, this page gains a row with a date. If a remix name is removed from the picker, this page notes the removal. If a new island joins the natural five (it has not yet), this page reshuffles.
Until then, this is the catalog as the launch build ships it. Hum first, import later, do not chase tracks the wiki cannot confirm.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
How many island beds ship at launch?
At least the five natural islands (Plant, Cold, Air, Water, Earth) plus remix folders including Amber Island, Wublin-style, and Fire Haven-flavored beds. The exact remix roster is community-reported and not fully listed in the store blurb.
Is Workshop Island in the game?
No. Steam reviewers asked. It is a setlist gap, not a locked folder behind a code. The Updates Hub tracks Steam news if it is added later.
What do I play for the Elemental achievement?
One song from each of Plant, Cold, Air, Water, and Earth. Vanilla beds are the shortest path. Five songs, one badge.
Why does Cold Island sound different to me?
The karaoke adaptation uses its own arrangement. If you remember the mobile Cold Island song, that memory is right; the karaoke version is a separate track.
Which island bed should I pick first?
Plant Island vanilla. The vowels land cleanly, the slide feel is forgiving, and it pairs with Mammott or Sox for a comfortable first run.
Will more islands be added?
Nothing confirmed. Watch the Updates Hub. If a new natural island ships, this page gains a row with a date.
