My Singing Monsters Karaoke Missing Tracks, Workshop Island, and Shadow Islet

The August 2026 launch build of My Singing Monsters Karaoke shipped a curated slice of the My Singing Monsters music library. Some franchise islands made the cut. Several did not. This page is the honest list of what is not in the song picker, why it is not there, and which absences are likely to stay permanent versus likely to land in a later patch. We will not invent hidden folders or invent DLC tracks BBB never announced.

The song picks and island beds pages cover what is in the build. This page is the inverse: what is missing, what fans noticed, and what to do about it.

The franchise islands that did not ship

Workshop Island. The clearest absence. Workshop is the franchise home for player-created songs, and BBB built the Steam client around importing fan charts. Skipping Workshop feels ironic. Steam reviewers noticed. The import guide explains that Karaoke can ingest charts aimed at other pitch games; a Workshop-style subscribe button is the missing UI layer on top of that import workflow.

Shadow Islet. A smaller franchise area that fans expected on the karaoke stage. The Steam store copy did not promise it. The launch build does not include it. If BBB adds it, the Updates Hub gets a row.

Celestial Island, Ethereal Island, Magical Islands, the Composer-only Wublin Island. Most franchise islands are not represented in Karaoke at all. There is no Celestial singer, no Ethereal singer, no Kayna singer, no Wubbox singer, no Fiddlement singer. The launch eight is the older Natural and Cold Island lineage plus the BBli$zard Legendary. The Monsters Hub is honest about which species made the cut.

Older Cold Island mix

A handful of Steam reviewers said the Cold Island material in Karaoke uses a more conservative audio adaptation than the modern mobile mix. That is an arrangement choice, not a missing track. The Cold Island song is in the picker; the melody you remember is the melody you get, just arranged around one singer instead of a layered ensemble.

If you hear Cold Island and think it sounds older than Plant Island, you are not imagining it. BBB reworked Cold more conservatively. The audio adaptations guide explains how the mobile soundtrack became karaoke beds.

Workshop Island, in detail

Workshop Island deserves its own section because so many players asked about it on launch day. Workshop is the franchise’s player-content island. The mobile game has a Workshop where you build songs with Composer. Karaoke cannot recreate that because Karaoke does not ship a Composer mode.

What Karaoke does ship is the import guide plus the chart checklist for local files. That is the closest the Steam client gets to Workshop. There is no subscribe button, no curated Steam Workshop page, no first-party chart store. If a YouTube thumbnail claims Workshop is in Karaoke as a hidden folder, it is fan speculation. The launch client does not have one.

If Steam later ships a Workshop integration, the Updates Hub will say so. Until then, treat every “Workshop is in Karaoke” claim as wishlist, not news.

Shadow Islet, in detail

Shadow Islet is a smaller franchise area. Players asked about it because the mobile game lists it among the natural world locations. The Steam store copy did not promise it. The launch build does not include it. Most players will not notice the absence unless they came from the mobile collector side of the franchise and scanned the island list looking for it.

We will not promise Shadow Islet tracks. We will not invent a Shadow Island remix. If BBB adds it, the Updates Hub will note it.

Songs reviewers expected but did not find

A full tracklist. Steam does not publish one. The picker shows island folders plus remix titles; the exact number of songs per island is not in the store copy we copied. If you are trying to count tracks, hover through the picker and take notes. Do not trust any “32 songs in Karaoke” number you see in a fan post. The wiki will not invent a count.

A difficulty label per song. Also missing. The known issues page keeps that request on the record. Pick a short island bed from song picks to learn the ribbon; trust your ear, not a star count.

A timer before the song starts. Steam reviews mentioned no countdown. We will not invent a timer the launch client does not ship. The Monster starts when the chart starts.

A separate Karaoke album. The mobile game has released soundtrack albums. Karaoke is a Steam client, not a music store. The audio adaptations live inside the game. If you want the audio outside the client, ask BBB on Discord or watch for a future Steam DLC. The wiki cannot sell albums from a soundtrack we did not license.

Why the launch library feels thin

Karaoke is a twenty-minute toy. A full franchise soundtrack would inflate scope, push back the release, and dilute the joke. BBB picked the islands most players recognize, arranged them around one singer, and shipped the booth gag as a Steam client. Reviews said the result feels short. They are right, and that is by design.

If you want more runtime, import custom charts from community databases. The official library is the joke. The import folder is the hobby. Both are honest.

What the wiki will and will not promise

We promise: a date stamp on any Steam news post that adds an island or a track. We promise: a clear “not in the launch build” note for every island fans have asked about. We promise: an updated island beds page the moment a new folder appears in the picker.

We will not promise: Workshop integration that BBB has not announced. We will not promise: Shadow Islet, Celestial Island, or Ethereal Island tracks in any specific patch. We will not promise: a difficulty label per song, a hit sparkle, or a countdown timer the launch client does not ship.

How to extend the runtime tonight

Pick a short island bed. Finish it once with your comfort singer. Finish it once with your comedy singer. If you want more songs, import one chart per session and tick the chart checklist so a silent fail does not eat your evening. That is the entire workaround until Steam news adds more islands.

If your frustration is “the official setlist is too short,” the review is blunt about it. The toy is short. The toy is honest about being short. Bringing that frustration to a Discord debate will not change Steam.
